Fussen just looked like a tiny dot on my Eurail map, but we were determined to go there, as we wanted to see Neuschwanstein castle, even if there was no town there to see other things...but we were rather pleasantly surprised. |
|  | Instead of the totally touristy town we were expecting, we found town which was busy without being overcrowded, attractive, with brightly painted buildings and much charm. It was also much more historical than we could have imagined.
I could have spent much more than 1 1/2 days here. |
