Visiting Art Galleries

You absolutely must visit some of the Art Galleries. There are over 20 of them (at least) scattered all over town, and I loved almost all of them.
The art is very distinctive and a lot of it was very different to any other paintings I'd seen elsewhere in Victoria. A very particular, bold, outback style.

Free entry too. We spent about 3 days in Broken Hill and still didn't manage to see all the galleries.

Living Desert Sculpture Park

I really recommend the Sculpture Park, especially at sunset (or sun rise). The sculptures are well done and it's an interesting concept to have such a park in the middle of the desert, with the city of Broken Hill far off in the distance.
It's a nice walk to the top of the hill and a great place for photography.
