    Getting TO/AROUND: We found getting around Perth equally convenient by either bus or train. One suburb which we wanted to reach could only be arrived at by a combination of the two (which we thought could be tricky) but when the train let us off at the 1/2 way destination, the bus was already right there waiting for the next leg of the short journey. It was great having the transport so well organised and synchronised like that.
    The freeways seemed extra wide or more multi laned than we had in Victoria at the time and seemed quite efficient.
