Newbury Street. Mecca for overpriced, trendy, ecclectic shopping delirium, unless of course you actually like that sort of thing. This view is not the most luxurious of Newbury Street, but I guess my camera couldn't afford to get the whole steeple in that shot so I just made up my mind to take what I could get and head back home. ;-) If you like expensive shopping, Newbury Street's worth driving around the block 10 times to find a parking space....but shhh.. don't tell anyone. :-)

Alternative: If you must do some shopping while in Boston, and you've already tried Quincy Market, the Cambridgeside Gallaria is a spacious Shopping Mall in Cambridge, Mass. with plenty of retail chain stores It's a short bus or T (subway) ride out from the downtown area. If you have a car, there's plenty of parking in the enclosed garage with entrances to the interior shops.
