Lake Como is a great resort in summer and there are people sailing and windsurfing on the lake. I sticked to laying on the small beach and had a swim in the lake. In the evening we drove up to the hill to a nice restaurant, had typical pasta (for that area) and wine and enjoyed the view (as seen in the picture).

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Beautiful nature, nice little local pubs and cafès
  • Cons:In August there were no tourists but I think apart from that time there are plenty
