  • It was said that King Taksin usually worship this place before he went to war as what I read and no historical records either. This Shrine is alone though.

    To get there:

Depart Chao Phraya Boat at the Princess Mother Memorial Park(4th stop)

  • This place is located between the Ratchatiwi Roan and Rangnam Road where blocks away in our place. This park as what I read commemorates the peace at the end of the World War II.

  • You can see Wat's everywhere in Bangkok, specially when you take the tour of the well known Chao Phraya River. There you can see the real life of most of the Bangkokians living in the side of this river. You can even discover some heart warming experience.

  • The first time I saw the Palace, thought of the Supreme Court of SG and these one here is a throne Hall of the Parliaments. We only pass by this area but some people there that I saw that time are foreigners. So, I guess this must be one of the great palaces in Thailand.

    Address: Uthonnai Road, Dusit District
    Free Admission(as what I read)

To get there, take the Bus # 70 & 72. You can also take a Tuk-tuk but be sure to settle the price before getting in:)

  • The Monument was built in the reign of the present King to commemorate the soldiers, policemans and civilians who have lost their lives during the border conflict of Thailand and Indochina.

To get there: Take the BTS Skytrain and stop @ the Victory Monumant Station, exit to the left and walk straight ahead for about 3 to 5 minutes. There are also cheap sari-sari stands along the streets to the area.
