  • Favorite Thing: I never realized how lot's of tourist Bangkok have..being one of it is really such a great memory, I think. When I first enter the Grand Palace, I thought there are a few tourist in there but wheew...lot's of it...I can just never imagine how much money they could have in a day for that (sorry for the Thai people), it seems that they comercialised the place but who wouldn't? It's just that I was amazed of how past things is really a very worth one...(until next time)

Fondest Memory: Is it really GOLD?

  • Bangkok Chao Phraya River
  • Along the river!

  • Favorite Thing: Chao Phraya River plays a main role of Thai life. Some of their history can be traced with this sprawling river banks. Old Temples, palaces and the communities living along the river. There are lots of boats operator that will ask you to tour you around the river but my recommendation goes to Chao Phraya Tourist Boat.

Fondest Memory: Catching the Sunset along the river is such a lovely thing to do and while doing this a cuppa would be refreshing!

  • Favorite Thing: There are lots of street vendors here in Bangkok, you can find varities of foods along the streets and at night time you can even eat there with a small table along the street! It was pretty amucing at the first time but I get used to it! Just thinking how many millions of smokes from the cars that will goes directly to the food and the customers! But Thai people love to eat this kind of seating!

Fondest Memory: It hold a special place in my heart!=)*wink* I love thai foods! The BEST,I might add!

Video Karaoke: Coin operated Video Karaoke

  • Favorite Thing: When hubby want to watch a movie, we went in MBK for their SF Cenima. Unfortunately, we already saw those movies. They change movies 2 to 3 weeks, too bad! But we ended up in the Coin operated Video Karaoke which you have a room for yourself. You can shout and sing whatever songs you want to play. Its a computer operated, you will just browse and find your favorite songs and then drop a 10 baht coin and click it! A minimum of 4 to 5 people in the room.

Fondest Memory: I find it funny at first but due to the needs of me to sing(I'm a music lover and love to sing), I had the chance to just shout,hehehe;-)

  • The peacefull park @ 4:00pm...

  • Favorite Thing: We're here in Bangkok for almost a year now and this park that my hubby always told me last past 6 months is only adjacent to where we live but I just been here this afternoon and notice that its clean and very greeny. I was thinking last time that it was dirty and the smell would just cause my head aches but it wasn't. It proves me wrong! There are many expats that I saw jogging around the park. People eating in the tables, students studying in the benches and even babies are playing with the flowers(they have baby & kids corner)...I was amazed of the place since when you get out of the park, you can see lots of vendors in the streets, busy cars, polluted air and chaois traffic! Its a public holiday today(Sports Day) so, there are many people in the park exercising, I thought of exercising too but I was too tired to do it,hehehe...well, poor me..I'm too fat now;-)

Fondest Memory: I had a nice time walking around, watching lovers in the benches and the family busy cuddling their babies...they have lovely sunflower in there too...and orchids!

Fondest Memory: Walking around and sitting after walking,heheheh...I have problems with too much walking though...cause I'm too lazy now not unlike those days;-)

  • Favorite Thing: Thailand is a place of the people that are very friendly! They are friendly as flips, lol. And even sometimes you can't understand what they were saying but they will show a glow in their eyes and a smile with their lips as a sign of friedliness. I used to this friendly folks as a Filipina like me, Filipinos by nature are friendly too but Thai's are different. A smile that you can't ask for more!

Fondest Memory: Living here for a moment and if we'll be moving again..surely those friendly people will be missed!

I miss the Oishi Restaurant in BKK. But I can't remember which restaurant that I've been to in 2007. I'm going back this coming June, can you please tell me which Oishi restaurant is best from all available. My email esahabatmu@gmail.com
