*Samal Island is about 10 to 15 minutes by pump boat in Davao in Barangay Sasa. You can find lots of beach resorts in this place and the world renowed Pearl Farm Beach Resorts is located here..

Getting there:In going to the island from Davao City, boats and launches are available at Sta. Ana Wharf and km.11 wharf in Sasa. Ferryboats to carry vehicles and trucks are also available at km. 11 ferryboat landing IGaCoS has five seaports - Kaputihan, Samal, Babak and PEO, and Sta. Cruz, Talikud.
