"A Weekend In Cancun" Cancún by diver-x

My Mom's employer celebrated their 10th year in business by taking the ENTIRE company plus one guest each to Cancun for a weekend! Can you believe that??? Obviously, they are doing well! In any case, my Mom invited me to go along, which was very nice. Thanks Mom!!!

We stayed at Moon Palace, an all-inclusive resort on the road between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, not very far from the Cancun airport. Unfortunately I didn't really see anything of Cancun since it was just a quick weekend trip. We had time for one activity, which was a trip to Xcaret, the Mayan/Mexican Eco-theme park in Playa del Carmen. The rest of the time was spent in the fabulous pool at Moon Palace, with the pool bar close by!

• Pros:Lots of great resorts
• Cons:Very touristy
• In a nutshell:Not bad for a weekend
