We drove from Amsterdam to Koln in about 3 or 4 hours, I think. We headed straight for a tourist information booth and booked a room right there. I don't remember much about the room, but it was about $50 US and it cost about an extra $5 for the woman at the info booth call around and book it for us. I'm sure it was fine because all of the little hotels we found in Germany were spotless and comfortable. |
