I'm not going to name any specific shop, just stick to secondary roads and keep an eye out for any Mom & Pop shop that catches your eye. . Stay away from the large shopping malls in Nashua and Manchester. The mall stores do not have the best prices. . In the off-season (spring & fall after the foliage), North Conway has some brand-name outlet stores on Route 16 that usually have good prices on kitchen goods, china and apparel. However, I usually avoid that area in peak season because the traffic is pretty bad. .

Agraichen Sat Feb 10, 2007 06:31 UTC I still mourn the loss of "the old Man"...and my time in Bristol. I'll have to make a trip back some day. Did you ever ski Tenney? | Lafinwithu1953 Sat Aug 26, 2006 12:15 UTC I lived in NH until 3 years ago. The weather there isn't bad, like it was when I was a kid with winter temps below zero most of the time & LOTS of snow. I was very LUCKY to be there! Now I am 3 hrs. to beach & 4 hrs. to Mts. & it's humid as hell in NC! | Helga67 Fri Jul 7, 2006 12:56 UTC Excellent tips. I can't wait to go there in Autumn. | pheasanttail Sat Jan 28, 2006 15:17 UTC great NH page. Being a Massachusetts native Nh is my get away state. My home page has alot of Nh on it.
