'Mode': TO,AROUND
Category: Car/Motor Home
Getting TO/AROUND: To go to northern NH, take Rt 93 if you just want to get there. Take Rt. 3 if you have the time and want to meander & shop. To travel east & west in southern NH, take Rt 93 to Rt 101. . Nice drives on Western NH backroads:Route 13 from Milford to New Boston & beyond. Route 31 from New Ipswich to Wilton & beyond. Route 202 from Rindge to Peterborough & beyond. Route 124 from Greenville to Marlborough. . You must have a car or motorcycle (summer only) to get around NH. Public transportation just isn't done. Or at least, it's not done well. .

Agraichen Sat Feb 10, 2007 06:31 UTC I still mourn the loss of "the old Man"...and my time in Bristol. I'll have to make a trip back some day. Did you ever ski Tenney? | Lafinwithu1953 Sat Aug 26, 2006 12:15 UTC I lived in NH until 3 years ago. The weather there isn't bad, like it was when I was a kid with winter temps below zero most of the time & LOTS of snow. I was very LUCKY to be there! Now I am 3 hrs. to beach & 4 hrs. to Mts. & it's humid as hell in NC! | Helga67 Fri Jul 7, 2006 12:56 UTC Excellent tips. I can't wait to go there in Autumn. | pheasanttail Sat Jan 28, 2006 15:17 UTC great NH page. Being a Massachusetts native Nh is my get away state. My home page has alot of Nh on it.
