Our first look at the Indian Ocean

Our first look at the Indian Ocean, Sodwana Bay
Our third stop in South Africa was Sodwana Bay, in KwaZulu-Natal province. Sodwana Bay is on the east coast of SA, north of Durban, not far from St. Lucia. There's not a whole lot there except sand, sea and a bit of forest. . . And also the southern-most coral reefs Africa! Of course, that was our draw. But certainly the beach at Sodwana is breath-taking! In fact it might just be the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. The sand dunes are immense and the surf is awesome!
