I was totally amazed by how intricate the architecture of "wats" in Thailand. And how magnificent this inclining buddha looks. I was "wat-ised" by the third day of my stay there.
A distinct memory I had was the fun bargaining with the vendors at various street bazaars and nite markets. Loads of street wear was made available throughout Bangkok! Though I felt that it wasn't as "cheap" as I expected. I LOVE BANGKOK for its handicrafts and wooden home decor.
After a 1.5hr long wait, Care finally saw me from afar of the Sapan Taksin Pier. Oh well, I was stuck in the notorious Bangkok traffic! In any case, we had a sumptuous dinner on a cruise down the Chao Phra Ya River. To top it off, a 15-min fireworks display near Shangri-la.
- Pros:FOOOOOODDDDD!
- Cons:Try not to look like a tourist, you won't be able to bargain much
