"Shannon" Shannon by TheaIren

I moved to live and work to Shannon only a month ago.
So far, Shannon is peacful and quiet place for living and many say
that boring as well.

What I like is that Shannon is by the river which looks more like a sea to me, as it is actually river delta. I often go for a walk by it.

Shannon is Ireland's only created town, being built in the 1960's as part of the development of the regional economy. Shannon is a very important industrial location, as well as being the site of the world's first duty free airport. The town has potential for significant industrial, residential and commercial development.

If you think of industrial, then ugly factories and tall buildings come to mind but it is not the case in Shannon.
