Getting TO/AROUND: If you happen to stay in the Suburbs of Bombay (Bandra and Northwards), The best way to get around town is by a three wheeled bombay rickshaw. These are not the one's pulled by human power, but by motor power, similar to the tuktuk's in Thailand. Only they are not as noisy and much smaller (carrying a max. of 3 passengers). The driver is seated upfront and the rickshaw's have a triangular shape when viewed from above. They have no doors and are hence breasy and comfortable. This is by far the most exciting mode of transportation in Bombay.
The Auto rickshaw has found fans in some the world's greatest citizen's. Media Magnate Rupert Murdoch (Sky, Fox, Star) bought one and had it shipped to HK for his wife, Bryan Adams was so found of travelling in his rickshaw he asked to have the ban on rickshaw's in South Bombay (from Mahim till Colaba) lifted so that he would not have to travel by a "boring" Four Wheeler Limo.
