Nightlife Spot: Aurus
The best thing to happen to the bombay night life since electrolosis. Aurus is located on juhu tara road close to vie lounge. It shares a similar ambience, with the beach front location dominating the outside terrace, furnished with balinese inspired gazebo's and four poster beds. The interior is a huge glasssed room overlooking the terrace and Arabian sea. Dinner can be had inside or out, but the music is indoors ( neighbors, arghh). Great drinks a lil pricey tho, around $15 a drink. Aurus has some great live acts (Dj,s) and the atmosphere is quite personal.

Nightlife Spot: China House
The only club in bombay that stays open till 4am every night. A chore to get into post 2am, but well worth it (an extra 2 hours of Drunkard's Therapy). Around $20 a drink with a very hip crowd and great music. It's a restaurant cum lounge, so you can get a table and make a night out of it.

Nightlife Spot: Olives
It's hard to describe Olives. It's a restaurant but you'd never want to eat there cause it's "too" lively, crowded and loud. But it's great for drinks, they even have a cobbled path leading to the back where you can enjoy some savory Hookah / Arguille / Sheesha.

Nightlife Spot: OnToe's
This used to be a classic Pub in the old fashioned sense, but recently with an increase in demand the jukebox has been replaced by a DJ, The Brews have given way to Cocktails. It's still a great place to meet on a night when you just wanna hang loose with your crew.

Nightlife Spot: Cafe Mondegar
You just can't go wrong with monde's (as it's affectionately called by locals). This corner pub has huge windows opening outwards giving it an almost cabana-ish feel. It's great for a mid-day brewski to take your mind of the heat and the endless shopping possibilities on this side of town. The Interiors has artwork by noted Goan Indian Caricaturist Mario Mendonza.

Nightlife Spot: Indus
Located in the Diplomat Hotel in Colaba. Indus is not a super happening spot, infact it's mostly unknown to the city's party animals. There's a good reason for that, it isn't a nightclub, it's just a restaurant with a huge projector and good beats. The alcohol is very decently priced and the food is great. Most of the time it's just the group you go with, so never enter expecting much fanfare, but if what your looking for is a place for just 10-15 of your closest friends to have a night out, INDUS it is.

Nightlife Spot: Koyla
You enter to the sweet fruity scent of burning hookahs. Koyla which means "coal" in the native language is a open air terrace restaurant over looking the bombay colaba skyline and the arabian sea. The decor is appropriate to the ambience and is very rustic in its appeal. The tables are cabbana-ish with a thatched roof for cover. There are three choices for your seating perference sunken seating, charpoy (traditional) seats and long bench seating. The floor is covered with gravel and there is a fountain adorning the center of the terrace. The lighting is dim and soothing. The terrace is spacious and ideal for parties. Though alcohol is not available at the restaurant you may bring your own. They have a corkage charge per bottle and will provide the mixers and staff for bar tending and serving.
