Why

I was in Beijing on a tour with my choir. That is the choir in Malmö Academic Choir and Orchestra

Originally we wanted to go to Japan, but because of some misunderstanding with the Japanese contacts we decided to go to Beijing instead. We were in Beijing the whole time (10 days with two travel days).

Our own committee organized the tour, but guided tours were organized by a professional tour company. A little touristy, but we got to see the essentials and could go back to visit what we thought could be interesting.

The temperature wasn't our friend. The mean temperature was around 35 deg C (just under 100 deg F) with almost no rain.
