Honolulu was the 3rd stop on the US-tour. Before Honolulu I was in NYC and Minneapolis. I was here (Honolulu) for just three days. After I finished a course in Mineapolis and before a conferens on the Big Island. The course finished early friday and the conference started on monday. You can imagine how liitle time I spent in Honolulu.
here is suprisingly little historic places to see in Honolulu besides Pearl Harbour, the mission houses and the royal Palace.
That said, there is enough to see from natures point of view.
