A taste of France in the W. Cape Franschoek is about an hour or so drive from Cape Town. It is fast outpacing Stellenbosch as the favorite wine region destination! The charming small town nestled in the mountains was settled by the Hugenots (hence the French connection!). The town boasts many of the best South African restaurants, vineyards and lovely places to stay. |
