We spent a week during the "Green Season" which is travel industry talk for "rainy season" in Paraiso near Santa Cruz. We happened upon a one-week window in late June/early July when the weather is lovely! We only had rain at night but got the advantage of seeing the countryside at its greenest! |
|  | Guyatil, Costa Rica Not far from Santa Cruz (and the airport in Liberia), there's a tiny village known for its pottery. The dirt road of the town (basically a large circular road) is lined with little pottery stalls. The local artists are making pots in a style that dates back hundreds of years. There's a co-op (larger more modern shop in the center of the circle) that sells some of the more artistic pots. Everything is affordable and just beautiful! |
