Favorite thing: Let's face it. Half the joy of being in Heidelberg is about the surrounding scenery with the Neckar valley and so on. Therefore, one of my absolute favourite things to do is to visit the viewpoints. Either Philosophenweg for views across to the Castle and Old Town, or as in these pictures, the many terraces in and outside the Castle for views down to the Old Town.
Fondest memory: Brewery Vetter. Which has nothing to do with viewpoints :)))
