"Wine festival village" Mayschoß by Sjalen

Mayschoß Travel Guide: 13 reviews and 36 photos

Mayschoss is one of the villages in the Ahr Valley, known for its wine festivals. If you like wine, you're in heaven here in Germany's northernmost wine growing district and forget all you hear of German wines being boring. They've just kept the good stuff to themselves and not let you have any in your home country!

This was the second stop on rhineroll's Wineroll VT meeting, but we mainly visited a festival and sampled some wine, so there aren't that many tips on the village itself here I'm afraid. I'll be happy to remedy that some time in the future though :)

When you've seen this page, Wineroll goes Bad Neuenahr is the next page to see for the real action!
