"Purple and green!" North York Moors National Park by Sjalen

There are plenty of dramatic national parks in England and this is one of my favourites so far. It should be seen in August or September if you can, since that is when the heather is in bloom and everything is purple. I have not visited as many corners of the park as I would like, far from it, but I know I will come back again and again when visiting family in York so come back to this page later as it will get new information with time.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Gorgeous scenery
  • Cons:Tourists, army presence
  • In a nutshell:You'd be stupid not to love it!
