Pateley Bridge Travel Guide: 14 reviews and 28 photos

Pateley Bridge is one of the more well-known villages in the Yorkshire Dales and so, can be a bit of a tourist trap at times. Especially since it is one of the easier places to reach by public transport in the Dales from Harrogate. Nevertheless, it is a very picturesque place as the village straddles a hill and you have nice views across the dale from many places. I wouldn't base myself here for a long stay in the dales but it is as good a place as any for sights and a good pub meal.

Pros and Cons

Pros:scenic, fairly easy to reach
Cons:touristy without that extra Dales space for everyone
In a nutshell:A good lunch break
