"An umlaut bonanza!" Höör by Sjalen

Höör Travel Guide: 15 reviews and 35 photos

If you're not from Scandinavia, the station sign in Höör is sure to impress :-))) This page will also have problems with the VT server time and time again...

Höör is a small town smack bang in the middle of Sweden's southernmost province of Skåne. Famous for being pronounced in the same way as "hear" in Swedish, much to the amusement of train guards, always making puns when announcing the stop...

The town centre leaves nothing much to explore and is quite dull, but the gems here are hidden in the countryside, with a great zoo and with castles nestling in the tranquil environs. Because of its central position and good campsites, it is also a good enough place to base yourself if you want to see more of the region.
