"Surprising village" Lärbro by Sjalen

Lärbro Travel Guide: 3 reviews and 3 photos

Lärbro is a village on northern Gotland, known for its unusual medieval church, but also for more modern history as former concentration camp prisoners were taken here when rescued and treated for all sorts of ailments after their horrible experiences.

The village is along the main Visby to Fårösund road and it merits a stop if you are in the area. This is ancient Gotland, and there is also a field near the church where you can sometimes try out Gotland games.
