"World's End" Trosa by Sjalen

Trosa Travel Guide: 7 reviews and 28 photos

Being so close every summer, it's amazing that I never got here until 1998 but then it was just as nice as I had imagined. Trosa brings a smile to any Swedish lips as it is not only the name of a town, but also the noun for a pair of ladies' underwear! :-))) This small town is not only known for this but also for a song where it is mentioned as the world's end.

Situated less than an hour south of Stockholm, it makes a great daytrip, or for that matter a good stop if you come by your own boat. It's archipelago is not as wild and desolate as parts of Stockholm to the north, and Oxelösund to the south, but definately still gorgeous. The town itself has little Trosa River running through it, and it is just as idyllic as it looks here with beautiful wooden houses lining the riverbank.

Pros and Cons

Trosa sounds great! I'll be back when you've written a bit more about it! I've been surfing around for some Swedish places to see and heard about Trosa. So of course I had to find more info on it on VT :-)) I am not surprised finding you've been here!
