"Archipelago hub" Utö by Sjalen

Utö is one of the larger islands in Stockholm's southern archipelago and one which makes a good stop if you are island hopping or looking for a nice daytrip from Stockholm.

The island is mainly famous for its unique geology, and for dramatic, medieval mine shafts. In fact, it's the place for the oldest mine in Sweden. If that's not your cup of tea, why not just bike around the island, stopping for a swim when you're warm...afterwards, you've earned a nice dinner at one of the best archipelago restaurants...
