We had the very best New Years ever in Acapulco this year. But don’t get me wrong – we didn’t stay at any of the hotel giants on the strip. As a matter of fact, the only time we drove out there – we were all pretty disappointed. The city is crowded with tourists and polluted by millions of cars. We stayed at a villa on the beautiful Caleta Beach – a charming little strip of villas with private access to water.
