Hello, if you were looking for Port Said, this is it. Unfortunately I don't have too much information. This is a huge port and parts of the city look lovely, but this is where tourist disembark from cruise ships, get on coaches and drive very fast to Cairo. A lot of people cross the wide mouth of the port on very overcrowded ferries. There is a realy feeling of bussle to the city and there are some excellent buildings to be seen from the ship.

Small boats pull up beside cruise ships and they throw ropes up to you. To shop tell them what you would like to see.... more travel advice

Wow, this is the most unique way of shopping I've ever heard of! What do you do, tie the money in a hankerchief and send it back down by the rope?
