THE DREAM OF MENELIK

Addis Ababa means ‘New Flower’. Emperor Menelik II ordered that his new capital be built here because it was malaria free, had fertile soil, water and wood for building. Today this is a metropolis of almost 4 million, Addis has it all. The great thing is that most prices for visitors are probably the cheapest of any Capital city in the world. You can do and see it all in this fascinating and busy city.

Well Weight loss is not a concern to most Ethiopians...may be that is why there is no diet-staff in Addis or anywhere else in ETH

The starters are great, the soups are highly recommended and the garlic cheese bread is awesome. The portions are not extremely generous and for the low prices, you can go all the way starter, salad a good main course and your dessert.

Dear, If you ask for coke light/sugar free you will get it in Addis. You can even find sugar free RC Cola. Better luck next time. gsb1@in.com
