We went for a weekend to Amsterdam. In fact we stayed on the campsite "Uitdam" in Uitdam, near the water : Markermeer, and the yacht port, a 15 km from Amsterdam.
From there we took the bus every day, to travel to Amsterdam, it was much easier than driving by car.
We could buy a "20 or 10 strippenkaart" for the bus,at the campsite.
From here you can visit easy over land or water : Amsterdam (15km), Hoorn (25km), Marken (3km), Volendam and Edam (10 km), Zaanse Schans with his wind mills (20 km). But also a beach afternoon belongs to the possibilities. |
