Leopoldstraße is the main pedestrian street in Ettlingen. You find all different sorts of shops in this street, bakeries, bookstores, butchers, travel agencies, hairdressers, jewelry shops and the like. It is fun to go window shopping here, so try it!

The 1 Euro Shop

This shop opened in summer 2006. Most of the items they sell only cost 1 €, so this is a fun shop to look around in! They have everything from shampoo to underwear to spices to pens, lighters, vases etc!

What to buy: Well, our VT gang spent quite a few Euros there and here is what they bought:
Natalie bought a bag (since she had been shopping in Karlsruhe before and needed the extra bag to carry everything home!!! Bernd and Sonja both bought an umbrella and Ingrid bought a new scarf, since she had lost her pink one earlier that day!
