I never wanted to travel to Asia - I just didn't have the right feel to it!
Then three girlfriends asked me to join them on a trip from Moscow to Beijing and I agreed!
We took the Transsiberian Railway and arrived in Beijing -
and step by step I realized, that it was not all that bad in China,
in fact, that it was quite nice....
Although time was rather short, we saw many things in and around Beijing and the unbelievable happened:
I returned to China two years later!!!

Beijing and China is certainly on our wish list and you got to see it, not once but twice.
Very funny about not knowing which way to read the menus, I would be in the same situation : ) China would be quite an adventure - I bet your journey on the Transsiberian Railway was interesting in itself!
