"MALI - I left my heart there......" Mali by tini58de

I was so fascinated by the colors there, by the laughter of the people and couldn't get enough looking at those wonderful women, who are graceful, cheerful and strong although they definitely don't have an easy life!
I took quite a few pictures and later put them into my theme calendar "Women of the World". If you like, have a look at the travellogue!
This trip was the reason, why I decided to become a sponsor of a child in Mali through PLAN INTERNATIONAL. And through my fosterchild's letters I learn to love this country even more! If you, too, are curious, have a look at the fosterchild travellogue!
- Pros:colorful, friendly, natural
- Cons:a very poor country!
- In a nutshell:most fascinating country in Africa

Wow, this is an incredible page. One of the best I've ever read on VT. I've always wanted to go here and help in some way. You've done it. Amazing. Wonderful page, wonderful travelogues, wonderful pictures:)
A wonderful page! I loved reading about Fatoumata and her family's daily life. Great photos too, especially the Hombori Mountains and Niger sunset
Tini, fabulantastic photos of the people and animals of Mali. Well done ... : -)
what a lot you pack into your life and pages, you are a remarkable person
I just saw yesterday on the TV a presentation on Mali and the Dogon country. Your page reminds it very well. Your picture of sunset on the Niger is superb! I like also the picture of people in their daily life!
Christine - this is a beautiful page and your photos are amazing : )
Thanks for all the great info on Mali! I'm considering including it in a North Africa trip next year.
