Hopping across the border
The only reason was, that I wanted to be able to say:
I have been to Mexico!
And I was there!!!
We crossed the border to Nogales, Mexico, looked around for about one hour and went back to the USA.
And the upsetting part was:
They didn't even stamp my passport!

I do hope you someday have an opportunity to really visit Mexico - not those dirty border towns, nor the glitzy beach resorts - but Mexico. It's charming and colorful, sometimes challenging, but always interesting.
lovely, nostalgic pics, Christine, and it was even about the time I came last time to Mexico
Enjoyed your pages on Nogales to Nogales! On the Hungarian border there are 2 towns 1 called Komaron and Komarono in Slovakia. .Will have a look at your other new pages time allowing. Tim·:*¨`*:·~My§ticÄl~·:*."
It is really fascinating, what you can make out of a short visit! Great!
I have never been to Mexico. Lucky you!
Interesting little page!
So you have obviously been to Mexico ...another country point for you ...but hey you just have to ask charmingly for a stamp in your passport .... you better should go again ... :-)
Hope you come back to Mexico sometime, for a longer time and to other towns. Greetings
yes you where in Mexico, I wasn't :-(
You must make a special request for a passport stamp at Nogales. I got one and it's not very pretty. I was lucky to travel with a Spanish speaking amigo and he insisted on getting one. We learned that they're just lazy and don't want to bother doing it.
