I LOVE markets, and so I enjoyed strolling through the markets in Egypt.
The Khan el Khalili in Cairo is the most famous bazaar, where you can buy many nice souvenirs, but the "regular" markets are just as interesting!

What to buy: Spices are a nice thing to buy, perfume is offered quite often (although you should really be careful about that), papyrus, scarabeus - just keep your eyes open and enjoy!
What to pay: Do bargain the best you can!!!!
