I have lived in Hamburg for 18 years and those were wonderful years!!!

I have the feeling, I know Hamburg very well, but as it is, it always seems to be most difficult to write about a place that you know well!!!

In the meantime, our daughter has moved to Hamburg to go to school there, so we will visit more often again! As time goes by, I will hopefully get hold of some of my old and new pictures and post them, so that the puzzle will sooner or later be complete!

Hamburg is said to have more bridges than Venice, so this is why I place the travellogues about the motto of my theme calendar 2005 "Bridges of the World" right here.

Happy new year. Go to Hamburg sometimes for meeting. Nice photo and nice city. Accidentally, I took a similar photo but both sides of the canal.
