My last day in the US - ages ago!

New York City was our last stop before returning home to Germany.

That was in 1981 and I have not been back since.
New York is a city that personally I did not like too much, but I am glad that I have seen it. It is just too gigantic in my opinion - and that is a very personal thing.

I was fascinated by all these buildings, enjoyed the breathtaking view from the Rockefeller Center, had a look at the Statue of Liberty - and was glad to get out of NYC again!

I don't have too many pictures, but I will be adding those that I find one by one.....

Yes, NY is gigantic. Your pictures are wonderful! I was asked to look after some cats in Manhattan so many times, but I didn't.

a great start with 3 tips ! Normally I do not like skyscrapers, but in combination with old churches and other "tiny, old buildings" even they look great !

The city has a definate vibe....it's one of those love/hate relationships for me! Great stuff so far, look forward to seeing more!
