We travelled with a "Dachzeltbus" = Roof-Tent-Bus, a bus, that has tents on top of the bus!!!
Very unique and very much fun!

Sahara Desert looks very hot but also very interesting!
What a great adventure, to cross the Sahara from South to North and sleep in a Dachzeltbus! Lovely photos and a stern warning about the "desert traffic".
Christine, By the way Happy birthday It was lovely your to Algeria, many places are interesting to visit one is the golden dunes of El oued Souf(my native town north of sahara), you are welcome again, might will organize a rip to discover Sahara.
What a wonderful adventure! I'll wait till things calm a bit and bring my Irish passport.
Very interesting accomodation tips. Keep up the good work .... :-)
Hoggar is one of my dream-destinations ! Unfortunately the whole region is rather unsafe now... aber Lust auf so einen Dachbus habe ich jedenfalls bekommen !! Auch Dir schöne Weihnachten !!
I have very good memories of the Algerian sahara crossing! But I wonder whether it is safe again these days?! Thanks for sharing Christine!
Your page has inspired me to experience the Sahara. What an adventure you had!
