4 1/2 weeks vacation in Australia!!!!
We took a round trip from Sydney to the Blue Mountains, to Melbourne, Adelaide and into the Outback. Coober Pedy was neat, Ayers Rock an absolute must and Townsville and the Great Barrier Reef a beautiful place to relax a bit!
The Sydney Tower is my most favourite tower in the world,
if you like to see more towers, have a look at my travellogue
"Towers of the World",
which was the motto of my theme calendar in 1995.

Hi Christine, I see from your photos that you picked a great year to visit Australia -- blue skies and no flooding! My younger son got standed in Sydney last spring when his flight was cancelled because of the Icelandic volcano.
Nice tips Christine. I hope to visit some of these places in September! :)
Great overview of Australia. Magnetic island and mystery craters captured my imagination. It is so near, yet so far - I still have to step on Oz land :) SL
You certainly packed some stuff into your time in Australia. It's a great place and we Australians love to know that our visitors take away such good memories. leyle
Beautiful page on this amazing country!! So glad you enjoyed your visit to my lovely home town Sydney : )
It appears you had a great time down under... but you didn't quite make it to WA ;~)
It's always interesting to see someone else's report on 'home territory'. Very enjoyable reading.
You know, I spent half my childhood living near Bundaberg, and I never visited these craters!
very nice photos!
Excellent page!.Hope to go someday to Australia!!!!
