After touring the Alsace for a week, we spent two days in Basel. It was VERY hot there, so that kind of made me very tired of sightseeing there.... But Basel really is a nice place - so go and discover it yourself!

Happy Birthday, Christine! Glad you enjoyed Basel even though it was such a hot day. I was there last summer, also on a hot day, but I rented a bicycle and had a great time cycling up and down the river.

I stayed at St.Alban Tor, lovely area. Never walked so much! Tks for comment about the Cathedral & Erasmus. Enjoyed seeing yr Basel. (are yr bags all packed for Santiago? :-)
