Lucky to have a friend in Munich
It's a very green city, it's quiet and spacious and has wide boulevards, large squares and well kept parks. It isn't a city that'll tire you out as much as others, and although it is not so huge, it does for example have a superb modern transport system.
I am lucky to have a friend in Munich, so I visit quite often and get to enjoy this city even more!

Nice tips and photos, Christine. I'm going to Munich again next weekend, but it will be a business trip as usual, so I don't suppose I'll see much besides the inside of our conference hotel. (I don't even know which hotel it will be yet.)
