We just spent 3 days in Hongkong at the end of a fabulous trip through China -
and it was another highlight of our trip!
I usually don't like big cities too much, but Hongkong was a true experience!!! The streetlights, Victoria Peak, the markets in Kowloon - boy, was I fascinated!!!

But have a look yourself - you might feel a little, what I mean!!

Enjoyed the travelogue, and I especially liked your tip description of the bird market. The hotel WMCA looks quite nice. Since I'll probably never see Hong Kong, it was a delight to read your impressions.
