A page to make you curious about China
I have never wanted to visit China!!
But then three friends of mine asked me to join them on a trip from Moscow to Beijing and I agreed!!! With a suitcase full of prejudices I entered the country and left with a suitcase full of wonderful memories and the wish to return one day!!
Two years later, my friends and I returned: before the Three Gorges Dam was to change the whole landscape, we decided to take a cruise on the Yangzi River. And since we were already in China, why not see a few more fascinating places?
This is our itenerary on the second trip:
Shanghai - Yangzi Cruise from Shanghai to Chongqing - Guilin and the Li River - Guangshou - Hongkong
It was a fabulous trip!!!

Great introductory overview of China. Nice pictures.
The Great Wall is a great landmark but cannot be seen from neither the moon nor from satellites. This is a legend built up by China! Long life to Tingting! The hotpot dinner seems to be really yummy! I completely agree with the need to use chopsticks
LOL - love the photo of you with the chopsticks!!
Tingting looks very beautiful and I'm quite sure she's grateful for all that you have done for her:) Let me know if you need help with the Chinese translation:)
Tears in my eys,I read the whole pages about Tingting and her family. On behalf of Tingting and all the students like her,I say "thank you" from the bottom of my heart. Also,I think "butterfly" by Tingting's mother is more than a gift. THANKS!
So THAT"S where the chopstick picture comes from :)))) Terrific page -- love the mountains and the medicine tips in particular!
One day I shall see more of China too!
what a wonderful great big heart you have. I found it inspiring reading about your foster children and the way you refer to them is delightful.Thankyou for that page.
Wow, what a page! Great overview and fantastic pictures!
Excellent page and outstanding travelogues ! I love your drawings and photos, especially the one of Shanghai's skyline!!
