Cheyenne, WYO is just one hour north of Greeley, Colorado, where I used to go to college, so every once in awhile, me and my friend Jacqueline would hop on the bus and go to Cheyenne. Although state capital it was a rather quiet town back in 1981!
But Wyoming has much more to offer - one of the most spectacular natural sites is the Yellowstone National Park!

Life was very different in the times without digital cameras!
Geysirs and Indians sound pretty interesting! Great page!
Great page, Christine! After reading your tips I have the odor of rotten eggs in my nose - ugh... Great photo of Old Faithful !!
What a great place to visit one day ! Forget about the smell, Christine, hopefully you will have fresh air enough at home again... ;-))
It's seems like a state that has to be added to our list of states to visit... Great pictures
I'm sure you would like to be this month "On the great plain" again to see the Cheyenne Frontier Days... Wonderful page as always!
Great page! Reffering to your warning tip I'd add Packing lists tip: a gas mask :-). I do hope to go there next time in the USA!
Ahh, yes, that drive across southern Wyoming on I-80 can be long! I love Yellowstone (minus the rotten eggs). Great page about a great state!
I would have expected more about the natives and cowboys. Nice totem pole.
Yellowstone NP must be great!!
