Aberdeen to me is......... - a place of warm welcome
- starting point for wonderful excursions to Scotland
- starting point for a breathtaking trip to the Arctic
- city with a lot of history
- and much much more.............
.
When I booked my trip to the Arctic, I only knew that the starting point was Aberdeen. Well, I then started planning and started collecting information about Scotland in general and Aberdeen specifically.
The wonderful part was that an internet friend offered to have me visit her - but then I was not travelling alone but with 2 friends - so she invited all three of us! We spent the most beautiful days together and Sheila not only sheltered us, but showed us around Scotland, which was more than interesting and enjoyable.
On the third day we had to say goodbye - but then this was the start to a wonderful trip to the Arctic, so I never felt bad about Aberdeen in any way................. |
