Climbing up the cuppola of St. Peter's

This was the most breathtaking thing that we did (in every sense of the word!!):

we climbed up to the very top of St- Peter's!!

The first part is easy: there is a lift taking you up a little way. From that platform you already have a nice panoramic view, but the best thing is the view downwards into the basilica.

And then get ready for 320 steps upwards to the cuppola!!! Let me tell you: it is really worth it, because the view is absolutely spectacular!

Equipment: 5 € entrance fee
