First attempts of travelling abroad
I was only fifteen, when my Dad took me to London
and on to Dover to spend my summer vacation with a family there.
I had just then studied English for 3 years
and sure enough did have quite a few language problems.
But this was the first time that I ever went to a non-German speaking country
and this was the foundation of many more trips to come!
Please forgive the bad quality of the pictures,
but keep in mind, that this trip dates back some 30 years
- and I just found them again!!!
